Daniela Moguel, three day event horse rider

Daniela Moguel

Daniela Moguel began riding at the age of 10 in her hometown of Mexico City, Mexico where she quickly gained a love for the sport of show jumping and won several championships as a young rider. In 2001, she joined Joy Phar as a working student in North Carolina and transitioned to eventing. In 2014, she competed at the Central American Games where she was awarded the silver medal. Afterward, Daniela and her mare, Cecelia, began training with Karen O’Connor in an effort to hone their skills even further. Under O’Connor’s tutelage, Daniela was in the top honors at the Toronto Pan American Games in 2015 and was the first Mexican rider to compete at Rolex Kentucky in 2016, where she finished 28th. In 2019, she again competed at the Land Rover, finishing 29th. Currently, Daniela splits her time between training and working toward her ultimate goal – the Olympics and teaching her many successful students.

“The difference I notice in my horses before and after feeding Tribute is dramatic. A good friend of mine who has been feeding Tribute for years now, introduced me to the brand. Today I have all the horses in my barn not only looking beautiful, but also feeling great and performing at top level.”
