The Metabolic Support Technology in Equi-Librium Balancer was evaluated in two controlled research studies—first at the University of Kentucky using horses with insulin dysregulation, and later at the Tribute Equine Research & Innovation Center using healthy horses. Together, these studies demonstrated measurable improvements in glucose metabolism and normal insulin responses across both horse populations.
The proprietary forage blend in Equi-Librium™ Senior and Equi-Librium™ Forage was evaluated in two feeding studies at the Tribute Equine Research & Innovation Center. Compared with traditional alfalfa pellets, horses fed the Equi-Librium™ forage blend spent more time in the ideal hindgut pH range while maintaining normal fiber fermentation and lower lactate concentrations. A follow-up confirmation study comparing the forage blend to beet pulp pellets found the same improvement in hindgut pH, reinforcing the consistency of the results.
