Constant Comfort®

Did you know that over 90% of performance horses and up to 50% of horses in light work experience gastric ulcers?

Kalm 'N EZ® Pellet, Seniority® Pellet, Senior Sport®, Kalm Ultra®, Growth Pellet and Synergize™ now include Constant Comfort®, a premium seaweed derived calcium that buggers gastric pH for 2-4 hours after a meal, supporting horses at risk of ulcers and digestive upset. A healthy stomach leads to a healthy digestive tract and, thus, better performance.

These feeds can be combined with Constant Comfort® Plus, Blocks and Paste for maximum gut health support!

The probiotics in Tribute® feeds, Equi-Ferm XL®, are microencapsulated (protected) to reach the hindgut and research proven to be superior in hindgut pH control.

  • Digestive Enzymes

    Digestive Enzymes assist in the natural breakdown of nutrients (fat, protein and fiber) into smaller, more digestible components. This supports better nutrient absorption and utilization, which means less waste!

  • Phospholipids

    Phospholipids support the breakdown and absorption of fat molecules to maximize digestive efficiency, supporting performance and weight gain efforts for hard-keepers.

Essential K® Upgrades

Due to the low feeding rate of Essential K®, Constant Comfort® and Uptake Technology™ are not able to be added at effective levels. We improved Essential K® by:

  • Removing the small amount of molasses, dropping the NSC level to 12% (previously 12.5%)
  • Increasing the level of Equi-Ferm XL®, our premium pre- and probiotic supplement guaranteed to reach the horse's hindgut and improve total diet digestibility

Finally, these feeds are now 100% free of flaxseed, a common allergen.
