    Description

Kalm ‘N EZ® GC Plus is higher in fat (8%), high in fiber (20%), very low in NSC (13.5%) and does not have any added iron. This pelleted feed contains added glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate and MSM to support your horse’s joints. It is suitable for moderate to harder-keeping horses with sugar and starch sensitivities, including Insulin Resistance, PSSM Type 1 and other metabolic disorders. The low sugar and starch (NSC) levels also make it an excellent choice for hyperactive horses and horses with digestive tract sensitivities. Its high fiber level also makes Kalm ‘N EZ® GC Plus a great option when hay quality is poor or hay replacement is necessary. This feed is formulated with pre- and probiotics to support your horse’s digestive health.

    Benefits

    • Added glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate and MSM support your horse’s joint health and range of motion.
    • Low sugar/starch (NSC) for horses with metabolic disorders and sensitivities.
    • High fiber levels make this feed appropriate for total hay replacement, if needed.

    Feeding Rate Calculator

Use our Feeding Rate Calculator to determine the proper feeding rate for your horse based on life stage, work level and body weight.

    Meal Size & Frequency:

We recommend 2 or more meals per day. Do not exceed 5 lb per meal (4 lb for ponies, 6 lb for draft horses).

Provide at least 1.5% of your horse’s body weight in quality forage (hay/pasture) daily. (ex. 1,000 lb horse needs 15 lb of forage per day, minimum).

Be sure clean water is available at all times.
