The physical demands of racing require a high plane of nutrition. Tough To Beet® is a fiber-based, higher fat (8%), textured feed beneficial for younger, developing horses. High quality ingredients combined with targeted fortification of B complex vitamins, amino acids, organic minerals, and antioxidants support faster exercise recovery, while a blend of energy sources promote sustained energy and top performances. Tough To Beet® also contains higher levels of pre- and probiotics to support the demanding lifestyle of race horses.

Meal Size & Frequency:

We recommend 2 or more meals per day. Do not exceed 5 lb per meal (4 lb for ponies, 6 lb for draft horses).

Provide at least 1.5% of your horse’s body weight in quality forage (hay/pasture) daily. (ex. 1,000 lb horse needs 15 lb of forage per day, minimum).

Be sure clean water is available at all times.
